This charm represents one of seven, life-size self-portrait busts, now miniaturized and rendered in simple graphic lines.  Nicknamed "Craggie", the original bust that inspired this design was cast in bronze using the lost-wax method.  Deep crevices, minute fractures, and subltle protrusions suggest geological formations while calling attention to naturally occuring variations in color and brilliance of the bronze itself.
