The Pith helmet emerged in the 1840s and became popular with many of Europe's military forces by the 1870s. It is perhaps most commonly associated with the British Empire. The version used on these models is inspired by the Foreign Service Helmet, a type of Pith worn by the British from the Anglo-Sikh wars of the 1850s through the to the Zulu war in the 1870s and beyond. It contains 10 heads representing officers or characters wearing Piths.
This product contains heads wearing pith helmets. These heads are scaled to fit 28mm heroic models, and are compatible with Golem Games' torsos and many other popular model ranges.
Golem Games also offer
plain piths,
piths with beards and
Wolsey piths.
