Product Description
U.S. Supersonic Airliner in 1967! Another great what if project of the 1960's. Proceeded until canceled by the Nixon administration in 1971 due to concerns about cost and sonic booms. 227 passengers - New York to London in 2 hours! Instead we got the now defunct Anglo French Concorde and the Soviet "Concordski" TU-144. Models are at 1:400 scale, add this missing link to your Herpa/Dragon/Gemini Jets collections. Also an interesting adjunct to a Dragon Aerospace Collection also in 1:400 scale. Since I prefer swooshing around my office with my models, no landing gear is provided. 2 versions included with wings in supersonic and subsonic positions. Individual versions of this model in either subsonic or supersonic positions are also available
