Chassis for Carrera Group 5 VW Kaefer (Beetle) (Carrera Ref. 72557 or similar)
Fits to existing body mounts. Rears are part of interior so if you'd rather use a lightweight one, replacement mounts are provided which fix to the sides.
The rear engine panel needs 1.5mm shaving off the bottom to clear my new chassis.
Enables fitment of upgraded parts to increase performance.
Takes a Slot.It INLINE motor pod and associcated parts.
Front axle height adjustment with the addition of 2mm grub screws.
For added performance the option of fitting Slot.It SI-CH56B spherical bearings can be installed to the front axle.
May require modifications/new interior to clear the new motor pod/arrangement.
