Description
The Eye Of Horus, also known as left wedjat eye, udjat eye, specular to the Eye of Ra, symbolises, Health/wellbeing, Healing/Restoration, and protection. In Ancient Egypt mythology, it is beleive that Horus lost his left eye in a dispute with Seth, and it was magically restored by Hathor. The symbol for the Eye Of Horus was also associated with at times being the Eye Of Thoth.
The Eye Of Ra represents the Sun and its destructive power. It is seen as an extension of the sun God Ra's power, and functions as a feminine counterpart, portrayed as an independant Goddess. The Eye Of Ra Symbolises, Protection, Fury, and Violence, and was used by people as protection for themselves or their buildings.
This guitar pick has a very nicely shaped bevelled surface, for high practicallity, and has the Eye Of Horus innovatively inset into the guitar pick when in one position, but when it is rotated 180' it also resembles the Eye Of Ra.
