Symbolic of the Donald Trump phenomenon, that Trump Train rolled along to victory. This keepsake ring features puffs of heart shaped smoke coming from the stack.

I create designs on my computer using programs like Inkscape, Gimp & Adobe for silver and steel jewelry I would like to wear or gift to a friend. So how does that CAD design become a unique piece you can hold in your hand?
Here’s how that magic happens at Shapeways -

To build steel models, special 3D printers deposit small drops of glue onto layers of stainless steel powder, one layer at a time, until the print is complete. These models are then carefully removed from the printer because at this stage the objects are very fragile, similar to a wet sandcastle. The models then go through an infusion process that replaces the glue with bronze, creating a full metal product.

3D Printed Sterling Silver products are made using a three-step process starting with a lost-wax casting process using a high-resolution 3D wax printer. The 3D printed wax model is put in a container and liquid plaster is poured around it creating a mold. After the plaster sets, the wax is melted out and molten silver is poured into the plaster mold. The plaster is then pulled away to reveal the silver and the finished product is polished for a smooth surface.
