Acoustic Sphere (19mm mic) (40mm diameter)

40mm spherical acoustic baffle for use with omnidirectional microphones. This attachment subtly changes the frequency response of on-axis signals. Many engineers like the way this attachment boosts high frequency presence in choral and orchestral recordings. The 40mm sphere is most commonly associated with the Neumann M50 microphone design and the Decca Tree.
