Product Description
The Browing Automatic Rifle (B.A.R) is a light machine gun chambered in 30.06 Springfield, feed by a 20 rounds box magazine, it was used as a squad weapon to support attack.

The B.A.R have been released at the end of World War I, in order to replace the french FM Chauchat and Hotchkiss M1909 Benét-et-Mercier machine gun. It effect on combat was significant even if the gun were introduce at the End of WWI. During WWII, every platoon have a B.A.R. gunner, but the weapon have some disavantage, it high recoil and special intern were great factors inaccuracy, the bipod and the flash hider was mouted on the weapon in order to gain accuracy when prone firing, but they was often dissassemble by soldier to save weight and portability.

The B.A.R saw service during Korean and Vietnam war from both side. This gun remain in service until early 70's in USA and it have been produce and use by many country, and many version came out :
- In belgium, it's FN Herstal produced the FM M1930 chambered in 30.06 Springfield
- In Poland, it was designated as Browning wz. 1928 for infantry version and Karabin maszynowy oberwatora wz. 37 (observer's machine gun) for aircraft defense weapon, both wre chambered in 7.92x57mm Mauser.
-  In Sweden, it was designated as Kg m/21 and Kg m/37, chambered in 6.5x55m m/94

In 2006, Ohio Ordnance Works worked on the 21st century modernization of the BAR, named the Heavy Counter Assault Rifle (HCAR)
