BAE / Oshkosh HEMTT w. 155mm Archer Howitzer 1/220

In 2019 the swedish BAE Systems AB (former Bofors) developed the F77A 155mm Archer modular gun system. Based on the older Archer Gun, which was mounted on a Volvo 6x6 articulated hauler, the new modular gun system could be mounted on different chassis, here on a Oshkosh HEMTT 8x8 Heavy Truck. The high mobile systems allows 20 sec. after taking position to fire the first volley of grenades. Fully automated and with a very small crew the gun could move only 20 sec. after firing the last grenade into a new firing position.
The set contains one Archer firing and one travelling.

 Im Jahre 2019 entwickelte die schwedische Firma BAE Systems AB (vormals Bofors) die mobile F77A 155mm Archer Geschützplattform. Basierend auf dem älteren Bofors Archer Systern, welches auf einem Volvo 6x6 Knicklenker-Fahrgestell montiert war, kann das neue modulare Archer System auf verschiedene Fahrzeuge montiert werden, hier auf das Chassis eines Oshkosh HEMTT 8x8 Lastwagens. Das hochmobile Fahrzeug kann nur 20 Sekunden nach erreichen der Feuerposition das Feuer eröffnen. Aufgrund der kleinen Besatzung und voller Automatisierung kann das Geschütz nur weitere 20 Sekunden nach dem letzten Schuss die Position verlassen und eine neue Feuerstellung beziehen. Das Set beinhaltet einen Archer in Feuerstellung und einen in Fahrposition.
