Arachnid (AON) Aegis-class MT(C)

The Arachnid Omnivoracity Navy (AON) Aegis-class MT(C) is a design created by Todd Dillen, based on Jack Southerland's Starfire artwork for Classic Starfire. Because the Arachnids held back the deployment of their monitors until they had a large number to deploy at the same time, so it is unclear whether the Aegis-class or the Arbalest-class was built first. Like the Arbalest-class, the Aegis-class is a multi-role command ship with command datalink and a relatively equal distribution of missile launchers and datalink point defense.
