Arguably the single best modification to be made to the Vaterra Twin Hammers, bell crank steering will make a big improvement to the handling of your rig. 

This version allows you to fit your own 3mm turn buckle link arm (55mm eye to eye). The crank arms are recessed to allow the fitment of 3x6x2.5 ball bearings for super smooth steering.

This high quality 3d printed design is super durable for the hardest of drivers. With the additional hardware listed below, it's a direct replacement with no additional mods. The standard body and frame require no changes.

Double bellcrank steering will transform the handling of your rig, giving smooth, precise turning with servo power going right to the wheels rather than into the poorly designed plastic sliding rack. Geometry is also refined over the stock setup to reduce bump steer to near zero. Servo turn angle is maximised to get the strongest performance from your servo.

Extra Required hardware: 

M3x25 button head screw x2. (For assembly of the crank pivot bolts, tighten, and then back off 3/4 of a turn to ensure cranks run free)

M3x22 button head screw x2

M3 locking nut (non flanged)  x 4

Four 3*6*2.5 (MR63 ZZ) bearings are required for the crank arms.

3mm turn buckle link arm (55mm eye to eye)

Servo Horn, 16mm with space for rear face fitting, such as a TLR1557 (with correct teeth for your servo)

You can also use cheaper aluminium horns found on ebay, and bend them outwards slightly to fit.
