Product Description

This model was a request from one of my followers. It is based off of the Arlesdale Hopper wagons used in the Thomas & Friends television show, prominently used by the Arlesdale miniature railway. I have scaled it up to function as a OO scale piece of rolling stock. In order for the bogies to attach to the chassis of this model, you will need to buy a size #4 screw with the associated Hex nut. The hex nut will fit in the hex shaped hole on the underside of the chassis and will require glue to stay in place. The screw will then go through the hole in the bogie and screw into the hex nut attached to the chassis. This particular iteration of the model does not feature the international Hook and Loop coupling system, instead being intended for the more realistic 3 chain and hook coupling system. Beyond the screws and nuts, you will also need to provide a set of two Hornby 14.1mm or HO scale 38" wheels for each bogie in order for the model to run. An OOn6.5 version of this model (which will run on Z scale track) will be made available at a future date.
