Product Description
The Vegvísir (sometimes colloquially called a 'Runic Compass' or 'the Viking Compass') is a magical symbol of navigation and may also be connected with actual compasses. According to its origin, somewhere around the 17th Century in Iceland, the Vegvísir includes 8 different staves of protection on each spoke of the "wheel"; thus the overall symbol becomes one suitable to defend against many kinds of logistical or psychological obstacles that might cause one to lose one's way. The symbol also has a few connections with the ancient Germanic runic tradition.
This is a variation of the Vegvisir pendant. It has two loops so it can be used as the face of a bracelet.
