Bulkhead Flatcar TTPX TSH71C - HO Scale

This is a model of a very common 62ft IL Bulkhead Flatcar built by Thrall in the late 1970s and features the edge of floor retaining system of the TSH71C class.

The modeler will need to provide the following parts to complete: Atlas Trainman Bulkhead Flatcar - this is for the underframe casting, screws and trucks. Moloco Freight Car Appliance Kit, CA-0302 - Brake gear, and Brake Wheel housing Detail Associates Stirrup Step - SS 6417 Tichy 18" Straight and Drop Grab Irons .012" Wire for Grab Irons, I suggest Tichy Phosphere Bronze. Plano - Morton Cross Platform Coupler pockets are provided on the underside attached to the back of the draft gear box.

A bending jig is provided for the cross platform grab iron and the long corner grab on the Left Hand Side of the Bulkhead.
