Product Description
This is a miniature replica of the earliest benchmark pipe cap used by the US Coast & Geodetic Survey. The cap has 2 lines of text and no center marking (center marks where occaisionaly added in the field). This style was used from 1904 to 1906. The cap was threaded to fit on the top of a 3" pipe (3.5" O.D.).
