Product Description
One day I decided to create a piece of jewelry for interlocking metal. Therefore, I needed something with lots of dangling parts - and somehow I started thinking of the term "ragdoll". Specifically, "ragdolls" in video games, which are employed whenever a character needs to be tossed around at the mercy of simulated gravity.
I settled on a hollow stick figure design - light, minimalistic chain links to balance aesthetics against stability and material cost. However, I had to reduce the number of parts in order to have it printed in interlocking metal.
This version of the ragdoll has a total of 5 movable parts - body, arms and legs. You can find a similar ragdoll with more joints here: http://shpws.me/Q8Uk
It was successfully printed in Interlocking Polished Brass, Frosted Ultra Detail, Acrylics, Polished Metallic Plastic and White Premium Strong & Flexible.
