Product Description
This stunning pendant is inspired by the benthic foraminiferan Spiroloculina depressa. Foraminiferan are marine and fresh water protists that build exquisitely detailed shells, or 'tests.' Spiroloculina depressa is a species of foraminifera within the order Miliolida. The Miliolida are characterized by multi-chambered, porcelain-like tests composed of calcium carbonate.
