A scaled-down version of my North American gray wolf, sIzed to be more affordable in the Frosted Detail materials but also available in Strong & Flexible plastics!
_
This model is the result of a personal challenge to create the most accurate model of a wolf that I could, and to make that sculpture available to other animal enthusiasts or anyone who would like one.
I utilized hundreds of reference photos (at least), did many hours of observation of the International Wolf Center’s live webcams, as well as hung out with wolves in person at Wolf Park (both outside and inside the enclosure). For specificity's sake, this model depicts a gray wolf of the Great Plains subspecies (
Canis lupus nubilus). More poses and materials will be coming in the future.
Sculpted in Sculptris, rigged and posed in Blender.

Note: This model has been successfully printed in Frosted Ultra Detail, but yours may show up as First to Try due to some slight tweaks to anatomy and sizing that won't affect printability.
