Presenting what is very possibly the laziest chess design ever conceived: Pawns with Hats! Is it a suggestion that we're all the same inside, and the king is no different from the pawn? Is it some variant of the idea that a person might "wear many hats," referring to the various responsibilities we burden ourselves with in our daily lives? Is it a Team Fortress 2 reference gone horribly, horribly wrong? You decide!
The queen's crown. Because I'm not gonna do an "all the pieces are pawns wearing hats" chess set without giving you the option to make a pawn a queen by actually giving it the proper hat. This might turn out to be the most annoying thing in the world to actually play chess with, but it had to be done.
