Winch, working (45 x 26.5mm) (mirrored)

basic winch on a base plate 45 x 26.5mm, about 27mm high, driven by a small geared motor inside the cable drum (similar to this winch but mirrored)

motor needed: G136, 6mm diameter, e.g. by Sol Expert

Assembly:

• cut all parts from sprue
• drive dog glued on shaft of geared motor (careful to not destroy the motor)
• motor is inserted into side housing, ideally fixed with a drop of glue
• cables come out through cable canal
• drum is put on drive dog / motor
• housing on the other side is added
• assembled winch is put on base plate fixtures (add a drop of glue)

The winch can be painted with acrylic paints. Ideally, this is done before assembly.

There is also a basic version of the winch to cater for specific model installations, such as a barge; this version is the mirrored version)
