Mobius Figure 8 Knot Pendant - two sizes

Just add a chain matching your choice of material and you will have a unique mathematical art pendant or necklace to wear. The basic shape is a Figure 8 Knot, but it is also a Mobius strip in the sense that there is only one edge and one side to this surface. The cross section is a concave triangle (hypocycloid) which rotates just 120 degrees as it makes a complete circuit of the path, so when it gets back to the beginning, each side runs into the next one. Tracing the path with your finger, it would take three trips around the knot to get back to the exact starting point. But, really, it just looks cool.
There is a large version of my Mobius Figure 8 Knot Pendant, scaled by a factor of 1.618, which is approximately the golden ratio, phi. I made it as requested by a customer who wanted to have a pendant and a set of earrings in this design, with the pendant larger by the factor of phi.
