Buildable Nuva Cube Water 2/6

3D Printed buildable Nuva Cube, Water symbol

From the Lego Bionicle theme.

The main purpose is to have a hollowed Nuva Cube that can be printed without “sacrificing” a face’s surface quality. The cube is hollowed so it can fit an inner cube if wanted. It can fit exactly a 6 stud wide lego cube for example. The pieces interlock to garantee a good sealing around the edges.
(On a personnal note, I find the process of assembling and disassembling it over and over again to be vastly enjoyable)

Note: having already prints of my own, i have not purchased this item. The play used on these models is a 0.2mm play allowing the pieces to assemble and stick together. This play was determined according to the prints I made in PLA on a Ultimaker2. Even though this play is achieveable according to the shapeway guidelines for the chosen materials, i cannot garantee perfect interlocking. In that case, glue or sticky paste may be required to hold the assembled cube together.
