This item is a speaker horn for a Samsung flat screen TV.
It is designed for model: un46d8000yfxza
There is also a 55" version of this model, which the speaker horns should also fit.
While these speaker horns are not a substitute for a soundbar, they are certainly a very economical way to improve the sound from the TV's speakers.
With flat screen TVs having speakers that face downwards, towards the ground, getting the sound out in front of the TV is a challenge. These speaker horns do just that!
Installation is very simple. There is screw on the back of the TV near each speaker. Simply remove the existing screw and replace with a slightly longer screw and the speakers are held firmly in place.
The proper screw to use is an M3 x 20mm.
