Relief Printing Registration Pins

- I create original linocut prints in my spare time, a part of which entails having to perfectly register paper on top of inked linocuts. There is presently one company that seems to have this market cornered. I came up with a similar system that not only makes the pins cheaper but also allows the user to create their own tabs that go on the pins. 
- I have kept the pins relatively small so as to reduce cost. They are sold in a strip of three since although most times only two are necessary, when using a paper that has one side much longer than the other a third pin can come in handy to stop the paper sliding in the press. Simply cut each pin off the strip to use. 
- They can be taped down, and I have also included two small holes through which ordinary staples could be inserted to further stabilise them. 
- The tabs can easily be made yourself by either using the ones supplied by above mentioned company, or you can take a two-hole or three-hole paper punch and make holes in cut up pieces of Mylar or stong card. The hole diameter needs to be 1/4".
