Product Description
As Saab was brought under General Motors ownership in the 1990s, and new models appeared based on shared GM platforms, loyalists were concerned, but Saab continued to stick to its traditional program of incremental improvements and idiosyncratic design and engineering. Case in point: the 1998 transformation of the 900 into the 9-3, a comprehensive update that nevertheless preserved the elements of the old car that still worked, such as its roomy, upright hatchback bodies. This model represents the final model year of the original 9-3, 2002, as it appeared in the US market in turbocharged SE form, with an opening rear hatch.
This 1:64-scale ready-to-paint and assemble kit comes with body, base, interior, dashboard, hatch, wheels, and tires. Body, base, and tires snap together—no additional materials required. Glue recommended for smaller pieces.
