Tach Housing with Gauge Pods for R_53

This is a tach housing for an R_53 mini with integrated gauge pods.  The ID of the gauge openings is 52.2mm and the bezel (outside of pod) is at 60mm.  Both pods are 39.7mm deep (front of pod to retaining boss in the back)  Fit with the factory 'skirt' is not perfect!!!! You will have to trim the factory piece that goes on the bottom of the tach housing. I was not able to measure this well, but some light file work and a little patience brings it right in and it works well. (changing the model itself to fit would be harder than just modifying the stock piece. If you mess it up a little, it is not too much of a worry as this part is hidden)  The 'snaps. may also not engauge on your metal piece.. no real worry they are just there to aid in the install of that metal piece.  The hole for the metal piece inside the tach housing is not threaded, as the screw used is a self-tapping plastic screw.  I printed mine out of MJF (Professional plastic) but the standard durable plastic should be fine as well.  I suggest getting them in black and then painiting (after prep) with Krylon flat black (3 coats and sanding) and then topping off with 2 coats of krylon flat clear to get a somewhat factory look.
