Universal XY Stereo Mic Holder. Requires two elastic 'Hair Ties' (not included). A great item for any audio engineer's toolbox!
Compatible with any "pencil" style microphone.
Creates a fast, easy and repeatable stereo micing setup. May be attached directly to a standard microphone stand using a common top nut, but we sugest using in conjunction with a swivel adaptor such as the WindTech MA-1, OnStage MM01, or Triad M1-R.
XY positioning will will produce a well-defined stereo image with excellent mono-compatability when used with cardiod microphones. Some engineers like to use this clip with two omni directional mics for close micing solo instruments with stereo presence, but low proximity effect.
This microphone positioning system was developed for real-world recording situations. This system will not droop, sag or otherwise lose its geometry during use. This clip is easy to use, quick to position, and offers consistent, repeatable results without endless fiddling or adjustment.
