Product Description
Finally a solution to bring your sagging N64 Stick back to life!  This 3D printed part completely replaces the Bowl in the stick assembly that gets worn down and is responsible for 99% of loose "broken" N64 controller sticks.  This part requires some moderate skills to install, but once the hole is cut correctly, you can indefinitely replace the Bowl of your thumb stick if and when it gets worn down again.  No need to buy the replacement sticks that don't have the same range of motion and the ability to control pace of walk/run movement, Scoping in 007? No problem with the original stick!

I have successfully printed and tested the part in white acrylic with good success. Once the 7/16” dia. hole is successfully drilled, only some minor shimming with scotch tape on the underside is required to fine tune the bowl to the stick you are repairing. ie assemble > test > shim and repeat until the feel wanted is achieved.  The white acrylic had a “grainy” feel at first, but after some play time the stick smoothed out and felt quite good.  It is not a 100% brand new stick feel, but the stick snaps back to center and full control is available. I have a feeling that the Ultra detail and Extreme detail Acrylic will have a more smooth feel when implemented. Some slop should be expected because the black X Y axis cams are usually also worn on sticks that are loose.  In other words the stick will snap back to center, but it will have a small amount of wiggle at center.

See the pictures for an install sheet. Message me if you want a better quality version of it.

I show dielectric grease in the write up for the lube.  You could sub that with white lithium grease if you prefer.

Dielectric grease is not a true lubricant, but it has worked for me.  YMMV
Edit: Some Metal options have been made availible, but i do not have any first hand experience with them.
