These artistic novelty items make great corporate gifts and sit well on desks, mantles, bookshelves, coffee tables, vanities, and near jewelry boxes, etc.
Unlike a maze that forces decisions, in a labyrinth, the only choice is whether or not to turn back before reaching the conclusion, in this case, the center. Aside from the central pillar and open corner mark, this labyrinth is comprised of only one singular wall of varying heights.
Simple, distinct, and enduring, this collection is deeply geometric, centered, fractal or self-similar, symbolic, scalable and semi-symmetrical. Each piece in the Labyrinths Collection exhibits proportions that touch close to Phi, or the golden section, a mathematical ratio described as both the Divine Proportion, and the Ecstasy of Nature.
This particular design features a base-to-apex height ratio of 2:1, where the central pillar height is half the base length. The open-corner pillars are in a 5:8 ratio.
The wall width to path ratio is ~1:3, which differes slightly from some of the others in this collection.
Considering the near-Phi infused constitution of this design, and depending on the material chosen, subtle energy (or Chi/charge) may emanate from this art piece - with potential to be felt like "spiritual gravity."
