Sikorsky S-42 1/400

The Sikorsky S-42 was designed for and used by Pan American Airlines on its long over-water routes. It had a 3000 mile ferry range and could carry up to 37 passengers over shorter distances. Often called the Pan Am Clipper, it was a contemporary of the Boeing 314 and Martin M-130 flying boats (also available from Shapeways). One was used as a transport by the US Navy during World War Two.
