Threaded rod connector MK IV Spitfire

This is the end connector on the threaded rod that allows adjustment of the door.  
NOTE: This part is not threaded - you MUST do your own tapping of this part to your specifications. It can receive either an 1/8" Whitworth or #6 SAE tap depending on your application.  The stock part uses a 1/8" Whitworth thread, however, aftermarket rods may use a #6 SAE thread so be sure to check prior to tapping.

ALSO: This is offered in either WVP or Aluminum.  The Aluminum part is rough and may required smoothing to achieve the proper amount of use.  The WVP part has shown to be durable, but the longevity over time is unknown, so you may want to consider using the Aluminum and smoothing as needed for your application.
