THIS ATPRO CONTROL BOX MOUNT IS DESIGNED TO FIT ONLY ONE WAY SO FOR CORRECT FITTING THE P IN THE WORD PHOENIX EMBOSSED ON THE TOP IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE SIDE POINTING TOWARDS THE COIL AND THE X is pointing towards the arm cuff.
(the updated version has COIL and CUFF embossed onto the feet to allow easy orientation)
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS OR YOU WILL STRIP THE THREAD ON YOUR CONTROL BOX!
This is an additional support mount for the Garrett AtPro metal detector. It is unfortunately a very common problem for the control box to break off quite easily and this mount decreases the chance of this occurring by creating more strength for the control box.
It fits onto the atpro using your existing screws that hold the speaker cover on. It can be fitted with the existing speaker cover in place or you can remove the speaker cover. I also sell an optional aftermarket speaker cover and this would replace the stock speaker cover on your machine, simply remove your control box and then the speaker cover and fit the aftermarket speaker cover.
* the aftermarket speaker cover I sell is used INSTEAD of the standard speaker cover and is not designed to be used in addition to the standard speaker cover...... you don't need two speaker covers.
