Antares Destroyer - Heavy Missile

In the mid 23rd century to counter the Trojan-Ioan Empire's Aries class destroyers the Hellenic League of Jupiter developed the aptly named Antares class. Antares, from the Greek “Rival of Aries”, was a multi-mission modular destroyer with a base design of 4 fusion engines, cryogenic fuel propellant storage, rotating habitation ring and a crew of over 125.   

A assortment of weapons and mission packages were designed to be modular and interchangeable. The Heavy Missile Antares possessed 10 centimeter cannons. Radar and Lidar targeting arrays. A single Twin Rail Gun Turret. and Point defense lasers. The hanger bay in the nose was replaced with a Landing Pad/Docking Port on the ventral exterior of the hull. The space formerly used for the hanger was converted into a gigantic magzine to hold a variety of missiles and drones.
