Product Description
The Boeing EA-18G Growler is the electronic attack version of the Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet. Replacing the EA-6B Prowler in 2009, the Growler features several improvements in hardware and software over the aging Prowler. The capabilities of the Super Hornet airframe matched with modern advances in electronic warfare yield a capable electronic attack platform for the next decade.
This 1:96 scale model incorporates the AN/ALQ-218 antennae arrays on the wingtips in place of the missile rails seen on the Super Hornets. Additional antennae on the top of the airframe are the remaining structural changes to the aircraft. The majority of the features that make the Growler are internally based. A smaller 15cm version (approx. 1/120 scale) is also available in the full combat configuration. Enjoy!
