S Helper Service Steam Loco Drawbar Repair Bracket

The frame pin on the S Helper Service steam loco for the tender drawbar is a bit fragile, and can break off. In 2014 Don  Thompson (owner of the now closed S Helper Service) asked me to desgin a repair bracket. It worked perfectly and he sold them for a while before closing S Helpler Serivce. The original design was  ALWAYS for a brass part.  I have had them made elsewhere in brass in 2014. As simple of a part as this is Shapeways WILL NOT MAKE IT IN BRASS even after sending them a photo of the part MADE IN BRASS, saying it does not meet minimum thickness requirements! I have them MADE in brass with 2014 era technology. Shapeways removed brass as a material option to only durable black plastic. This has turned out to be my most popular part. It has sold some long enough ago that I think I would have heard negative feedback by now if the durable plastic did not work. I think the durable plastic is the best second choice material option after brass.
