Product Description
N-gauge model. Most people are aware of the ubiquitous Conflat A. Well there was a slightly longer one as well, introduced for Bird's Eye fish traffic in a new type of container which looks a lot like the A-type containers but apparently needed a new type of Conflat wagon to carry it; Enter the Conflat B. These were made by converting old pipe wagons and flat ED wagons. This model will fit on the well-known Parkside Dundas 12'WB chassis kit, making it a Conflat B ex LMR-type pipe wagon. If you would like the LNER-type variant, I have uploaded that as well (see photos) with a chassis having different brake gear, but apart from that a lot like the Parkside Dundas chassis. In either case you'll need to fashion and fit a brake cylinder underneath the floor.
Complicated bit:
The brake cylinder goes close to the side with only one V-hanger, and a little to the left of that V-hanger (beyond the end of the lever) as you look at that side of the upright wagon. This rule applies to both chassis, but because the V-hangers are in different places on the two chassis, I could not include the cylinder in the CAD of the wagon body without limiting your options to put this wagon on either sort of chassis.
