The
Lockheed XF-90 was conceived to penetrate enemy defenses and shoot down opposing interceptors. An attractive airplane, it lost to the McDonnell XF-88 Voodoo, which also failed to enter production when the penetration fighter concept was abandoned. However, it was successfully flown by members of the Blackhawk Squadron in many comic book adventures of the early 1950s.The models come two to a set, one with auxiliary fuel tanks and landing gear and one in flight.
These models are a re-scale from our
1/285 XF-90, some parts have been modified to better fit the new size.
