A set of four 1/700 scale models of the Tallboy bomb, most famously used to attack the battleship Tirpitz during WW2. Ideal for dioramas when combined with my 1/700 Lancaster bomber.
The Tallboy is a 12,000 lbs penetration bomb designed by Barnes-Wallis. 617 squadron were the major user of this weapon, successfully attacking military targets such as U-Boat pens, V-1 Bomb sites, and on the 12th November 1944 the Tirpitz.
