R/C Shock Shaft Soft Jaws

This is a simple soft jaws adapter that can be used to hold r/c car shock shafts without flattening or scarring their surface.  It's a cheap, simple alternative to shock pliers.

This can fit any shock/damper with a 3-4mm or 1/8" shaft and 25mm+ stroke/travel. 

Use it along with a basic pair of pliers to change or adjust your shock eyes.

This is a two piece design that comes joined by a 2mm parts tree style stick and a loop to join the two parts with a zip tie.  An obsolete joined version is shown in some of the photos.  I have not printed this version yet due to reduced pay from the virus. 

WEAR EYE PROTECTION when cutting the two pieces from the parts tree.  Small bits can fly off in this process.  This is true when cutting any plastic parts from a parts tree.
