Product Description
If you build a lot of rigs or want to split the cost with some friends then look no further. This is TWO of our 32X cages treed together to keep costs as low as possible.
Based off the same design as our 16X and 32X listings but doubled up again.
This "cage-o-pivot-balls" will get you 64 pivot balls (FOUR full sets) for all your link swapping and maintenance needs.
We had to put them in a cage and tree them so Shapeways will treat them as one piece, to keep the price as low as possible. They're too small individually to tree without adding "bumps" to the sides, no good.
-To Install-
Snip "cages" open
Remove old pivot ball
Install new pivot ball
Wiggle around a little if it's really tight.
-Material Options-
Versatile Plastic and MultiJet fusion are very similar base materials, Nylon. Multijet Fusion is sintered with the selected color while Versatile Plastic is sintered white and then dyed the selected color. Multijet also offers a glass bead option.
-Notes-
Shapeways has a .1mm stated tolerance so you might need to wiggle them around if they're really tight. They all fit tight but good when we got the prototypes.
