Product Description
This is a ring I designed as a Christmas/Birthday/Valentine's day present.
Specs:
It's a size 7 ring meaning the ID of the ring is 17.3mm.
The setting is designed to fit a 1.63ct 5.8 x 3.5 mm Round Facet cut stone.
The volume of the ring is 328mm^3 or 6.32g in 24k gold.
The stone I used was a 1.63ct 5.8 x 3.5 mm Round Facet cut peridot gem. I bought the stone from https://www.gemselect.com. They see to have reasonably good prices and selection. They also have good shipping times in the U.S.A. If you need to resize the ring, I would recommend resizing the band and customizing the prongs to fit your stone.
You will need to bend the prongs to hold the stone. Shapeways uses a wax casting process for their metal prints which results in a less brittle product than other companies but I would still be careful. I would also recommend using a dab of E6000 on the bottom of the stone to glue it in.
