Product Description
A small passenger engine for the LBSCR produced by the engine makers Sharp & Stuart. This would have been the original, as ordered condition of this engine. as It would have three different looks over its service life. COming onto roster in 1869, the engine only ever saw a year of service under Craven. Upon taking the reigns, Stroudley sent this engine to work passenger runs between Brighton & Kemptown, for which the engine was named.

There are two versions of this model in OO. An experimental chassis which requires no gearbox, and the plain chassis. This experimental chassis version has been printed, but not yet tested for runs. The chassis is made with sprung buffer pockets, though the front one will have to be shortened somewhat.

Model is meant to accomidate a Leading wheel of 2'-9" dia, with the Drivers being 4' dia. As for motor, a generic 1015 motor is the intended size (High Level & Mashima motors are available). Some likely sources for wheels include ScaleLink, Romford or Markits sets.

Handrails can be made from brass wire, taps for reaming out handrail knobs are also on the model.
