Product Description
The Y33 bogie is a variant of the more common Y25 design. Developed for use in special vehicles, including intermodal wagons, it has a 2m wheelbase, compared to the 1.6m of the Y25. This ensures smoother running at higher travel speeds, despite identical suspension design. The Y33 is designed for a wide range of wheel diameters, axle loads and wagon pivot heights.
The basic design has been produced in cast and fabricated (welded) versions.

NOTES
- This is a pair of TT:120 scale Y33 bogies.
- Two variants are available, the Fabricated (Choose SMALL) or Cast design (Choose LARGE)
- Both versions will accommodate wheels up to 8mm diamter on 18.5mm axles, but smaller wheels will be more appropriate for many wagons.
- Both versions have a basic NEM pocket fitted, which can be carefully removed and relocated as required. (Re-attach with Superglue after roughing surfaces to provide a key) . Alternatively Dapol supply NEM pocket kits.
- Clearances will be tight and some filing or sanding with 400 Grit abrasive might be required.
