Fainting Goat (Art is Long Life is Short)

 The fainting goat id an allegory for the artist's journey where failures are followed by persistence and "getting back up again". Myotonia congenita is a condition that causes the muscles of these goats to freeze up when startled which renders them stiffened and helpless usually falling to the ground for a moment or two before regaining their faculties and carry on to do what goats do.  Sculpted in Zbrush by the artist, this sculpture was intended to be a reminder and companion in the studio when times got tough.
