Product Description
Phystyulons

144th scale (10 or 12mm)

The HU-948 Heavy Rocket Cycle is a an upscaled version of the HU-946 built to accommodate strider soldiers. The longer legs required a much large bike, and as such, the HU-948 is one of the largest rocket cycles in service.

The HU-948 shares the majority of components in common with the HU-946, including its armament. The more powerful engine gives it a slightly higher top speed, but even on the modern battlefield, this rarely comes into play. The remaining weight was put towards additional armour, making the HU-948 slightly more tolerant to hits in the front and side – though it is still by no means heavy armour by AFV standards.

As it is used by an elite unit, the HU-948 typically is used in a more conventional company of twelve cycles in four platoons of three.
