Shelby Lancer CSS Cap Repair Insert

A common problem with the CSS wheels used on the limited production 1987 Shelby Lancer is that the retaining clips molded to the original center caps would break off. This can result in the center cap coming loose and possibly flying off the car. 

Good center caps are hard to find. If you can find them at all, the clips are usually broken, rendering the cap useless.

Here is a solution to that problem. This 3D designed part is made to replace the original clips. 

Cut off the remaining clips on your center cap and press in the new retainer insert and secure it with epoxy and maybe a couple rivets.
