Product Description
Founded in 1865, the Robert Hudson Company of Leeds produced a variety of tipping wagons for narrow and standard gauge track. This model represents a 200 Cubic Foot (5.7 m^3) capacity, 8' ( 2.4m) wheelbase, UK standard gauge example.
Basic brake gear and buffers included, but these varied between prototypes, so you might want to replace them.
Release the tipping body from the chassis by cutting the short round sprue at each end.
The tipping body, buffers and coupling hooks can be attached to the chassis with cyanoacrylic adhesive (Superglue, etc). Roughening the surfaces to be glued will enhance the joints.
The axle-boxes have 2mm pilot holes printed. Drill out for your preferred wheelsets, such as Bachmann Branchline 36-028 with the axle points filed flush with the wheel face.
