Chrysalis Shell Earrings.

Chrysalis: a protecting covering : a sheltered state or stage of being or growth. The designs in this series begin as traditional vessel shapes; wine glasses, bottles, vases etc... In a 3D CAD program we manipulate them by poking holes, pulling and stretching the shapes. The results are organic forms with a repetitive nature. There are remnants of Math Art in the designs but the intent is to take it away from perfect symmetry and give them a more natural feel. The earring hardware is not included in this purchase, but our recommendation is to go to a local bead store or craft shop and purchase jump rings and earring hooks in the metal of your choice.
