N Gauge ‘Glynn’ Shunter (Fictional)

A commissioned item, unlike the other models of this Victorian engine (available in N Gauge and 00 Scale), this variant has a fictional extended tank, reflecting that of a character from a certain island of talking trains…

This scratch aid provides a simple-to-assemble unpowered N Gauge model, only requiring couplings, weight and wheels to complete. Coupled to a motorised flatbed or other motorised stock (each separately available, plus free-rolling coaches and trucks), a fully working N Gauge train can be created.

NOTE: for ease of painting the cylinders/motion are a separate component to be glued in place behind the tank. During production it is attached to the footplate by several sprues which need removing.

Necessary to Complete:
Graham Farish steam locomotive front bogie (the older version with very small wheels; only the wheels themselves are needed). These can be acquired as spares such as via https://brlines.co.uk/original-farish-spares/
Couplings (holes for wire are pre-drilled)
Weight (to add inside the boiler, tank and bunker)
