Product Description
Chiral (literally, "handed") symmetry • Chiral twist can be either "left-handed" or "right-handed" •  Yellow struts connect the outer and inner geodesic-shell nodes, to produce a strong, unified, tetrahedral-truss framework • Tetrahedral-construction concept is that used in the design of the 1967 Montreal Exposition geodesic sphere (U.S. Pavilion) •  This model was inspired by George Hart's "rapid prototype" design, as depicted on his webpage
